BSB: Bruins' Games at Whitworth Moved Ahead to 11:00 a.m. in Case of Bad Weather

NEWBERG, Ore. – The schedule for the George Fox at Whitworth baseball series set for Friday-Saturday, Apr. 2-3, in Spokane, Wash., has been adjusted in light of anticipated wet and cold weather in eastern Washington this weekend. Instead of a Friday doubleheader and a single game Saturday at 12:00 noon both days, the teams will begin the three-game series Friday at 11:00 a.m., playing two if they are able. If only one game is played, there will be a Saturday twinbill, also starting at 11:00 a.m. George Fox is 15-9 overall and 8-4 in the Northwest Conference, in 3rd place, while Whitworth is 8-15 overall and tied for 4th in the conference at 5-4.
