Tuesday’s Makeup Game between Bruins and Warriors Moved to Volcanoes Stadium

NEWBERG, Ore. – After concluding that their home field simply would not be dry enough in time, the Corban University Warriors have decided to move their non-conference baseball game with the George Fox University Bruins on Tuesday, Apr. 11, to Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer, Ore., with a 4:00 p.m. scheduled first pitch.

The Bruins and Warriors were originally scheduled to play at Warriors Field in Salem on Mar. 21, but that was postponed to Mar. 27 at Volcanoes Stadium, which was also rained out.

George Fox takes an overall record of 15-15 into the game, while Corban is 19-14.  This will be the only meeting of the season between the two.  The Bruins are members of the Northwest Conference and the NCAA Division III, while the Warriors are in the Cascade Collegiate Conference and the NAIA.
