NEWBERG, Ore. --- George Fox University's Caleb Dalzell has grabbed a spot on the D3Football.com Team of the Week for his performance against No. 7 Linfield in a close 12-6 loss.

Dalzell, a junior defensive end from Gresham, Oregon, helped anchor the Bruins' defense with a career-best performance. Dalzell recorded a career-high 13 tackles with 10 of those being solo tackles – also a career-high. He also recorded two and a half sacks and seven and a half tackles for a loss for a combined 50 yards of total loss for the 'Cats. His seven and half tackles for a loss marks the most by any NCAA Division III player in a single game this season.

He is now tied for 10th in Division III in tackles for a loss at 14.0 and tied for 14th in sacks with eight.

This marks his first honor from D3Football.com and the third time a Bruin has grabbed a spot on the team. Charles Riga has earned a spot twice this season.
