Dec. 13 - Northwest WA 76, at George Fox 64
The Bruins split a pair of games last week against teams from the
NAIA and the Cascade Collegiate Conference, pulling out a 72-62 win
at Concordia-Portland before dropping a 76-64 home decision to
Northwest (Wash.) that ended the Bruins’ three-game winning
streak. The Bruins thus split the season series
with the CU Cavaliers but lost both games to the Northwest
Eagles. Evan Atwater’s 17 points and 6
rebounds led the way in the win over Concordia, in which the Bruins
pulled away in the final three minutes. Steve
Campbell and Alex Stockner had 12 points each in the loss to the
Eagles, while Stockner just missed a double-double with 9 rebounds.
