WHITEWATER, Wis. --- The George Fox men's basketball team closed out its Wisconsin trip Sunday, as the Bruins fell to the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater Warhawks, 98-63.

Recap:
The Bruin were the first to strike in the opening minutes after senior guard JJ Lacey knocked down a triple to get things going. Lacey hit his second three a minute later, and extended the Bruins' lead to four, 6-2.

The home team settled in a couple minutes later, and Warhawks' Tyler Scotty hit a three to give Whitewater an 11-9 advantage. After the three by Scotty, the Warhawks held the lead for the remainder of the game.

The Warhawks went into the break with a 19 point lead, 48-29.

The Bruins looked poised for a comeback in the start of the second, but the Warhawsk sniffed it out and held their advantage for the rest of the game.

Top Performers:
 Lacey led the Bruins with 12 points and five rebounds. Ryan Thistlewood scored 11, while Mason Green-Richards was the final Bruin in double figures with 10.

What Comes Next:
The Bruins continue their road trip down in Texas on Dec. 17-18, with the first game against Southwestern at noon.
