NWC CHAMPIONSHIP: Bruins Finish NWC Tourney and Season in 8th Place
BLUE RIVER, Ore. - Although they were able to shave 16 strokes off their first-day score, the George Fox University Bruins were unable to climb past anyone else and finished eighth in the Northwest Conference Men's Golf Championship Tournament Sunday here at the Tokatee Golf Course, winding up in the same spot in the overall final NWC standings.

NEWBERG, Ore. - Linfield College will be out to defend its Northwest Conference Fall Classic title in men’s golf at the 2008 event this Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 18-19, at the Canyon Lakes Golf Course in Kennewick, Wash. Tee times are set for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, and the public is welcome.
