Bruins Shoot Program Best 292 in Day One of PLU Invitational

DUPONT, Wash. --- The George Fox men's golf team had a first Saturday afternoon, as the Bruins shot a program best day one team score of 292 (+4), placing the Bruins in second out of 10 teams.

Recap:
The Bruins got off to a fantastic start in the first round of the Pacific Lutheran University Invitational, as the Bruins are currently second out of 10 teams. Willamette leads the invitational with a team score of 291, putting the Bruins just one stroke behind first place. Caleb An led the charge for the Bruins shooting an even par 72 and placing T5. Zachary Mode and Brandon Sutton were both one stroke off An with a 73 and taking T8. Alex Plusquellec finished T11 with a 74 and Andrew Grove completed the scoring with a 78. Chad Duncan and Mason Mueller both played as individuals for the Bruins. Duncan shot a 76, while Mueller shot an 85.

What Comes Next:
The Bruins will look to knock down the door that Willamette has set on Sunday morning when day two kicks off.
