Bruins Start the Year On a High Note

DUPONT, Wash. --- The George Fox men's golf team finished in third place Sunday afternoon, as the Bruins finished just three strokes off of entering a three team playoff.

Recap:
Both Pacific Lutheran and Willamette finished with a team score of 597, while the Bruins shot a team score of 600. Caleb An continued to play well for the Bruins finishing T5 with a 72-75=147. Zachary Mode signed a 73-79=152 and placed T12. Andrew Grove and Alex Plusquellec both finished T14 with a two day score of 153. Brandon Sutton completed the scoring for the Bruins with a 73-81=154 and took T16. Chad Duncan and Mason Mueller both played as individuals for the Bruins. Duncan finished T26 with a two day score of 156, while Mueller shot a two day score of 175, placing 53rd.  

What It Means:
The Bruins start their 2015-16 campaign on a high note with a podium finish in their first tournament of the year.

What Comes Next:
The Bruins will head up to Spokane, Washington next weekend when they compete in the Whitworth Invitational at the Spokane Country Club from Oct. 4-5.
