Bruins In Third After First Round of NWC Spring Classic

SPOKANE --- After the first round of the Northwest Conference Spring Classic, the George Fox men's golf team sits in third out of nine teams.

Recap:

Pacific Lutheran and Whitworth are both tied for first after shooting a 299 team score. The Bruins are two strokes back with team score of 301, while Linfield College is in fourth with a 313.

Alex Plusquellec led the Bruins in the first round, as the senior shot a 73 to sit tied for third. Mason Koch is currently tied for fifth with a 74, while Clayton Rajewich was the final Bruin in the top-10 with a 75 to take tied for ninth. Joshua Lackey is T-19th with a 79 and Mason Mueller is T-23rd with an 80.

Keegan Loo of Whitworth leads the field of 44 golfers with a one-under-par 71.

The Bruins will look to make a move Sunday, April 8 in the final round of the NWC Spring Classic.
