NORMAN --- The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) has announced the men's golf Division III PING All-Region honorees, as Alex Plusqullec and Mason Koch become the first Bruins to garner the prestigious honor.

The GCAA announced a total of 100 players across all six regions – Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Great Lakes, Central and West – earned honors for 2018.

Plusquellec and Koch were recently placed on the All-Northwest Conference Team as first-team selections, while Plusquellec grabbed the Bruins first-ever NWC Player of the Year award.

The pair helped the Bruins record one of their best seasons to date with a second-place finish at the NWC Fall Classic, a third-place finish at the NWC Spring Classic and a fifth-place finish at the NWC Championships. With all three total events added up for the final standings, the Bruins placed fourth overall in the conference – tying their previous record of highest overall finish in conference play (2015-16).

Both players finished the season ranked inside the top-100 on golfstat.com. George Fox was the only NWC School to place two athletes on the Div. III PING All-Region Team.
