Still seeking their first Northwest Conference wins of the season (and their first wins overall), the Bruins play the third and fourth games in a series of four straight road contests when they visit Pacific Lutheran Saturday and Puget Sound Sunday, both at 2:30 p.m. The Bruins will be out to snap a string of five straight losses and consecutive shutouts. No multimedia presentations are expected from either PLU or UPS.

In one of their better defensive efforts, the Bruins allowed the Bearcats only three shots on goal - unfortunately, two of them went in, both in the second half. The Bruins were held to four shots in all and two on goal.
Sun., Sept. 26 - L 0-7 at Linfield
Danny Snelgrow tied the Linfield record of five goals in a game as the Wildcats handed the Bruins their worst loss since a similar setback at Whitworth on Oct. 15, 2005. Torrey Santiago had the Bruins’ only shot on goal, and Elliott Davis had eight saves in goal.

* Coach Tim Tsohantaridis:
Tim Tsohantaridis (Barrington ‘ 77) is 57-58-8 (.496) in the third year of his second tour of duty and seventh season overall as head coach of the George Fox men’s team. He led the Bruins to a 50-23-4 record from 1986-89, winning the NCCAA national championship in 1988 and earning NCCAA National Coach of the Year honors for that achievement. Counting a 7-6-1 record in one season (1979) at Barrington, he has a cumulative record in his eighth season as a college head coach of 64-64-9 (.500).
