In a fine defensive effort, the Bruins held the Northwest Conference leaders scoreless for over 55 minutes before the Boxers punched across two goals to stay in first place. However, the Bruins' offense, which is still looking for its first goal at the new Austin Sports Complex, could manage only three shots, none on goal, against the stingy Pacific defense. Elliott Davis had a career-high 10 saves in goal for the Bruins.
