NEWBERG, Ore. - A pair of goals scored during the week, including his second game-winner of the seson, has earned forward Luke Hammer the Bruin Athletic Association Men’s Athlete of the Week award for Sept. 5-11 and honorable mention for the Northwest Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week.
Hammer, a freshman from Roseburg, Ore., scored the first goal of the game less than three minutes in to start the Bruins off toward a 3-0 win in Simpson (Calif.) on Sept. 9.
