In the women’s events, the Bruins’ Lisa Mensonides took top honors in the 800 meter dash with a time of 2:18.32, the best mark in the Northwest Conference thus far.  Cindy Walsh, who leads the NWC in the long jump (17-4.25), won the same event in the Icebreaker, though her mark this time was two inches shorter at 17-2.25 (5.25m).  Marlee Zakrevsky captured the hammer with a throw of 132-3 (40.31m)

Winners for the Bruin men were Sam McKenzie in the triple jump with a distance of 41-10.50 (12.76m) and Ben Burgess in the hammer with a throw of 159-9 (48.69m).  McKenzie is already the NWC leader in the triple jump at 44-5 (13.54m).

George Fox seconds went to Irene Johnson in the women’s 100 meter hurdles (15.28), improving her own NWC-leading time, and Abby Reed in the women’s 5,000 meter run (19:20.79).  Bruin thirds were earned by Emily Hodgin in the women’s triple jump (34-0.75 /10.38m), Connie Evjen in the women’s pole vault(9-0.25 / 2.75m), Hana Fisher in the women’s hammer (119-6 / 36.42m), and Nate Dillow in the men’s 110 meter hurdles (16.15).  Dillow is the NWC leader in the 110 hurdles (15.68).
