MXC: Eberhart Named BAA Men’s Athlete of the Week for Sept. 14-20


NEWBERG, Ore. - Cam Eberhart has been named the Bruin Athletic Association Men's Athlete of the Week for Sept. 14-20, and also received honorable mention for Northwest Conference Men's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week.  The senior harrier from Albany, Ore., placed ninth out of 54 runners in the Willamette Grass Course men's 7.1K race on Sept. 18 at Bush's Pasture Park in Salem, Ore., with a time of 23:31.15, the second week in a row he has been the Bruins' top finisher.  His effort helped the Bruins finish third as a team in the event.   

The Athlete of the Week Award for both men and women is presented throughout the Bruin sports seasons by the Bruin Athletic Association, whose mission is to provide George Fox student-athletes with an outstanding athletic and academic experience and to strengthen the overall competitiveness of the Bruin athletics program.  For more information about the organization or to become a member, visit the Bruin Athletic Association website.
