Bruins-Bearcats Series Washed Out; One Makeup Doubleheader Set for March 17

NEWBERG, Ore. – Wet grounds at George Fox University’s Morse Field have forced the Bruins and the Willamette University Bearcats to postpone their entire four-game Northwest Conference softball weekend series that was set for Saturday-Sunday, March 11-12, with 12:00 noon doubleheaders on both days.

One of the doubleheaders has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 17, to start at 2:00 p.m. at Morse Field.  No makeup date has been determined for the other twinbill. 

The Bruins, now 6-10 on the season and 1-5 in the conference, also have a makeup doubleheader two days later, on Saturday, March 19, at Pacific Lutheran University, which will start at 1:00 p.m.
