George Fox at Pacific Softball Twinbill Postponed by Rain; No Makeup Date Set Yet

FOREST GROVE, Ore. – A consistent Sunday morning rainfall has forced a postponement of the Northwest Conference softball doubleheader that was to have been played here at Sherman/Larkins Stadium between the visiting George Fox University Bruins and the Pacific University Boxers at 12:00 noon.

The games will be rescheduled at a later date, but no definite makeup plans have been made as of yet.  George Fox’s next games are already makeup games, as the Bruins will host Willamette University Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Newberg, Ore., at Morse Field in an NWC twinbill.

George Fox will enter Thursday’s action with a 7-15 overall and a record of 1-9 in conference, in seventh place in the league standings.  The Willamette Bearcats are 7-11 overall and in sixth place in the standings at 4-6.
