NEWBERG, Ore. --- After securing its 12th Northwest Conference Championship in the regular season, the No. 14-ranked and No. 1-seed George Fox women's basketball team hosts the No. 4-seed Lewis & Clark Pioneers Thursday, Feb. 22, with tipoff set for 7pm.

The Matchup

The Bruins (22-3, 15-1) square off with the Pioneers (14-11, 9-7) for the third time this season. In the previous two meetings, the Bruins came away with an 80-58 victory in the first game and an 81-58 win in the second.

George Fox recently placed three players on the 2018 All-NWC Team. Kaitlin Jamieson was named first-team, Emily Spencer received second-team and Haylee Hutzler was named as an honorable mention. The Pios had two players make the list as Miyah Leith was named first-team and Laureon Wood was an honorable mention.

Coming into tonight's game, the Bruins are on an 11-game win streak with an average of 75.2 points per game – second-best in the conference. The Bruins also post the second-best points per game allowed at 60.7. As for the Pios, they are currently fourth in points per game (66.6) and sixth in points per game allowed (67.8).
