NEWBERG, Ore. --- For the second time this season, George Fox University's Kristin Elich earned Northwest Conference Women's Golfer Student-Athlete of the Week.

Elich helped guide the Bruins to their third straight victory of the season with a win at the Culturame Classic Oct. 7-8. Elich put together back-to-back 75's to shoot a 6-over-par 150 to atop the leaderboard in the field of 44 golfers. Elich was tied with Whitman's Phoebe Nguyen after the completion of the second round, and the pair headed to the first playoff hole. Elich defeated Nguyen after the first playoff hole Sunday to earn her second individual win of her senior season.

This marks the third time Elich has earned NWC Women's Golfer Student-Athlete of the Week.
