WSOC: ALL-NWC Trio of Bruins Receive All-Conference Honors for 2009
NEWBERG, Ore. - A trio of the George Fox University womens soccer players - Nicole Akiu on the First Team, Jenny McKinsey on the Second Team, and Kirsten Cardwell as an honorable mention - have received 2009 All-Northwest Conference honors as voted on recently by the nine coaches in the conference.

WSOC: Cardwell's Passing Garners BAA, NWC HM Weekly Awards
NEWBERG, Ore. - With a pair of assists in the Bruins' season-ending 3-2 overtime loss at Linfield, Kirsten Cardwell earned the Bruin Athletic Association Women's Athlete of the Week award and received honorable mention for Northwest Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 2-8.

WSOC: Bruins Season Finale vs. Lutes Washed Out by Torrential Downpour
NEWBERG, Ore. With George Fox University holding a 1-0 lead at halftime, thunder, lightning, hail, and a torrential downpour wiped out the second half, resulting in a no contest finale in the season-ending Northwest Conference womens soccer game between the Bruins and Pacific Lutheran University Lutes Saturday here at Morse Field.

WSOC: LINFIELD 3, GEORGE FOX 2 Wildcats Stun Bruins with Long Goal in 2nd Overtime
McMINNVILLE, Ore. Rennika Doty lofted home a shot from 30 yards away in the second overtime period, giving the Linfield College Wildcats a stunning 3-2 victory over the visiting George Fox University Bruins in Northwest Conference womens soccer action Friday afternoon here at the Linfield soccer field.
