The first half of the Northwest Conference season comes to a close this weekend as the Bruins host Pacific Lutheran on Saturday and go to Linfield on Sunday, both games at 12 noon.  It will be a weekend of sharp contrasts, as PLU has allowed the most goals of any team in the NWC this season (27) while Linfield has scored the most goals of any team (28).  A night game at Pacific on Wednesday will start the second half of the conference season and be the Bruins’ final mid-week game of the year.  The Bruins are coming off a 1-1 weekend in which they snapped a three-game losing streak with an overtime win at Lewis & Clark, but fell at home to a Puget Sound team that was a unanimous pick to win the conference again.

Multimedia:  George Fox will provide live stats only for its home match with Pacific Lutheran on Saturday; the link is posted above.  There will be no multimedia available from Linfield.  Pacific will provide live stats for the Wednesday night game at http://www.goboxers.com/live/wso/xlive.htm.

Tickets:  Ticket prices for George Fox soccer matches at the Austin Sports Complex, which is located at the corner of Villa Rd. and Crestview Dr. a mile north of the main campus, are $6 for adults and $3 for non-GFU students and seniors 55 and over.  Children 6 and under who are not in school are free.  George Fox faculty, staff, and students are admitted free with valid GFU ID; the ID covers immediate family members for George Fox employees.
