PORTLAND, Ore. --- The George Fox women's soccer team played against the Pioneers of Lewis & Clark Wednesday night, as the Bruins fell 1-0.

The Bruins dominated the shots in both periods, but it was the Pioneers who were able to secure the 1-0 victory. In the first half, the Bruins out-shot the Pioneers 8-3, as six of the eight were on frame. Hannah Osmundson of LCC played all 90 minutes for the Pioneers, recording eight saves on the eight shots on goal by the Bruins.

After a first half that showcased the Bruins dominance, both teams went into the half 0-0.

The game-winner came in the 54th minute after a header from a corner slipped by Bruins' goalkeeper Morgan Bars. The Bruins looked to find the equalizer late in the second half, but Osmundson was in pure form recording two late saves.

Top Performers:
Hannah Harder led the way for the Bruins with three shots, as two were on frame. Cassie Wilson and Savannah Moisan also tallied two shots on goal. Bars played all 90 minutes and recoded three saves on the night.

What Comes Next:
The Bruins (3-7-3, 3-4-2 NWC) will host Pacific (Ore.) on Oct. 15 at 12p.m.
