NEWBERG, Ore. --- In their final home game of the season, the George Fox women's soccer team hosted the best-in-conference Lutes of Pacific Lutheran, losing the matchup 5-0.

The home team came out ready to play against the fifth ranked team in the West, proving to be a challenge to the high-powered Lutes' offense throughout the first part of the contest. The Bruins were able to hold the top-ranked visitors scoreless in what was a highly competitive first half.

The Lutes found their offensive spark early in the final period of play with a goal coming in the 58th minute that sparked a ten-minute offensive surge wherein they scored four more goals.

The deficit proved to be too much for the Bruins as the time ran out.

Top Performers:
Senior goalkeeper Morgan Bars tallied seven saves in her last time taking the pitch at Austin Sports Complex. Senior Hannah Harder also finished with two goals.
