Hand Steps Down As Head Of Women's Soccer

NEWBERG --- George Fox women's soccer coach Cory Hand has resigned his position, effective immediately.

The veteran coach led the Bruins for seven seasons. In his seven-year tenure the Bruins had one player named NWC Defender of the Year and ten players selected to All-NWC rosters.

Athletic Director Adam Puckett and his leadership team will conduct a national search to identify candidates for the Bruins' next head coach.

"We are grateful for Cory's seven years of service to university and for his commitment to the women in our soccer program," Puckett said of Hand's tenure. "We wish him and his family the best."

Interested parties should submit a resume and cover letter to the George Fox Human Resources office once the job is posted. That posting will be available here.
