NEWBERG, Ore. --- Senior quarterback Grant Schroeder has been named Northwest Conference Football Student-Athlete of the Week for the second time this season, announced by the conference office.

Schroeder led the Bruins to a 43-23 road victory over No. 22 Whitworth Saturday afternoon. Schroeder completed 16-21 passes for 76.2 percent with 261 yards and three touchdowns. He had an efficiency of 227.7 – his highest of the season. He also ran the ball nine times for 82 yards and two rushing touchdowns. His favorite target on the day was Brad Lander, who caught six passes for a career-high and program-best 163 yards and two touchdowns.
