SPOKANE, Wash. --- The George Fox men's golf team is right where they want to be after day one of the Whitworth Men's Invitational, as the Bruins hold firm at fourth out of nine teams.

The Bruins shot a team score of 311 on Sunday, and are 14 strokes off of first place. Willamette holds that honor as it leads the field of nine with a team score of 297. Pacific Lutheran and Whitworth are both tied for second with a score of 304.

Top Performers:
The Bruins were led by Andrew Grove, who shot a 73 on the day and is tied for fourth. Alex Plusquellec signed a 75 and is tied for ninth, while Brandon Sutton fired off an 80 to take T24. Caleb An shot an 83 to finish T37, and Mason Mueller completed the scoring with an 86 to place T42.

What Comes Next:
The Bruins will have to battle tomorrow to move up in the leader board as the second round will tee off Monday morning.
