PORTLAND, Ore. --- The George Fox men's golf team battled some fierce weather this weekend, and play was cancelled on Sunday due to the course's unplayable conditions.

After day one, the Bruins were in sixth out of nine teams with a team score of 328. The wind and rain kept the players sharp all day, as any mistake made was paid for by the harsh weather. Caleb An was the low shooter for the Bruins with an 80 taking T-17th. Zachary Mode shot an 81 and was T-21st, while Alex Plusquellec shot an 83 was T-29th. Mason Mueller wasn't far behind with an 84, finishing T-31st. Brandon Sutton finished up the scoring with an 88 to take T-45th.

With the conclusion of day one, there were still four players who needed to finish the first round on Sunday. The four men's golfers were able to finish their round on Sunday before the teams called in quits. Since all teams finished the first round winners were chosen based on those results.

What Comes Next:
The Bruins will head down to sunny California for the Cal Baptist University Invitational on March 21-22.
