Bruins Place Fourth in Willamette Spring Invite

BEND, Ore. --- The George Fox men's golf team concluded the Willamette Spring Invite on Sunday, as the Bruins finished fourth with a team score of 625.

Willamette won the tournament with a 581, while Linfield came in second with a 597. Whitworth just edged the Bruins in third with a score of 604.

Caleb An was the low-round leader for the Bruins with a 78-74=152 to take T-12th. Zach Mode and Alex Plusquellec both finished T-25th with a two day score of 158. Mason Mueller shot an 81-80=161 to place T-29th, while Brandon Sutton shot a 91-76=167 to take 39th. Matt Preston finished in 43rd with a 100-93=193.

Trent Jones of Willamette won the tournament with a two day score of 67-69=136.

What Comes Next:
The Bruins will compete in the Northwest Conference Championship in Sunriver, Oregon on April 23-24.
