NEWBERG, Ore. --- In just a few days, the George Fox men's golf team will be back in the swing of things for the 2018 season at the Sunshine Invite March 10-11.

The Bruins open up the season with a tournament at the Sun Willows Golf Course in Tri-Cities, Washington, before playing at the Willamette Cup March 17-18 and the West Cup in California March 25-26.

The Bruins will then open up Northwest Conference play in April with the Spring Classic at the Hangman Valley Golf Course in Spokane, Washington, and the NWC Championships in Tacoma, Washington.

George Fox ended the fall with back-to-back second-place finishes, as one of those second place finishes happened at the NWC Fall Classic. Alex Plusqellec and Mason Koch both average a 1-over-par 73 per 18-holes on the season. The pair will lead the young Bruins who have made a huge upswing as of late in the program. Freshman Joshua Lackey has made a splash in his rookie season, recording two top-5 finishes. Clayton Rajewich and Mason Mueller also average sub 80 rounds and combine for three top-10 finishes on the season.
