A Winning Tradition
LA VERNE --- The George Fox men's golf team closed out the West Cup Tuesday, as the Bruins moved up one spot to finish 11th out of 17 teams.
The Bruins made steady progress on the final day at the Sierra La Verne Country Club, shooting their team-best 18-hole round of 307. The Bruins finished the tournament with a 321-313-307=941 to showing their progress each round.
Guilford College won the tournament with an 891 team score, while host La Verne took second with an 899 team score.
Alex Plusquellec and Mason Koch were atop the leaderboard for the Bruins, as the pair finished with a 221 to take tied for sixth. Plusquellec signed a 75-70-76=221, while Koch finished his tournament with a 77-73-71=221. Clayton Rajewich finished T-66th with an 83-84-79=246, Joshua Lackey placed T-77th with an 86-87=81=254 on the card and Mason Mueller finished T-79th with an 87-86-82=255.

The Bruins will take on the Northwest Conference Spring Classic next at the Hangman Valley Golf Course April 7-8.
