The ultimate goal for George Fox men's golf is to be the 'team to beat' in Div. III golf. Athletes have the opportunity to showcase their skills in a program with high aspirations. Men's golf athletes are committed to playing at a national championship level.

Some of the benefits of joining the men's golf team at George Fox include playing under a head coach who is an outstanding instructor of the game and playing for an administration that greatly supports athletics and wants athletes to play against the best. Golf athletes also get to play at outstanding practice facilities just five minutes from campus which include a bunkered short-game area and two large putting greens. George Fox also has a cutting-edge indoor training center on campus for golf athletes, which provides a space for practice regardless of daylight or weather conditions.

Chehalem Glenn Golf Course

Opened in the summer of 2005, the home course for the university's men's and women's golf programs is an 18-hole, par-72, 6,572-yard course located on the east side of Newberg at the foot of Parrett Mountain. The course features gently rolling hills with spacious fairways on most holes but sand traps and extensive wetlands that cross or border seven holes, making it a challenge for even experienced golfers.

Peggy and Bob Fowler Training Center

The Peggy and Bob Fowler Training Center is located on the first floor of the Wheeler Sports Center and offers the teams a cutting-edge indoor training center where they can practice regardless of daylight or weather conditions.

The facility features an 800-square-foot putting surface with three chipping areas and the latest in golf training technology, including a launch monitor system and simulator. Players are able to play top-ranked courses via a video simulator as well as to analyze their distances, accuracy and ball speed. The putting surface offers every type of putt with various breaks and speeds.

The Region’s Premier Small-College Conference

George Fox is a member of the NCAA Division III Northwest Conference, a group of nine selective private colleges which all rank in the first tier of U.S. News’ National Liberal Arts Colleges or Regional University categories. The other members are Lewis & Clark College, Linfield College, Pacific Lutheran University, Pacific University, University of Puget Sound, Whitman College, Whitworth University and Willamette University.
