HILLSBORO --- George Fox's Kimi Ito has been named Northwest Conference Softball Position Student-Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Ito, a senior centerfielder from Keizer, Oregon, led the Bruins over a six-game span between Puget Sound and Pacific Lutheran. She went 10-21 at the plate against the Loggers and Lutes for a team-best .476 batting average. She also recorded a .542 on-base percentage and a 1.000 slugging percentage to go with three home runs over the weekend. This marks her first honor as an NWC Student-Athlete of the Week on the season.

The Bruins will host Willamette on Friday, April 19, for senior day. First pitch is set at 12 pm.
