Kayla Anderson enters her third season as an assistant coach under head coach Jessica Hollen for the 2019 season.
Anderson, who graduated in 2016 from George Fox with a degree in athletic training bring a variety of talent to the coaching staff. Anderson finished her four-year career for the Bruins as one of the most decorated athletes in the program. She holds seven career batting records and is mentioned 25 times in single-season records. Overall, she is mentioned a program-best 35 times in the George Fox softball records.
Anderson was a three-time All-Northwest Conference first-team selection and was named in 2015 NCAA Division III All-West Region second team during her career. She helped the Bruins achieve back-to-back 31 wins in her final two seasons, which is a program-best. She also led the Bruins to their first-ever appearance in the NWC Tournament Championship game, and NCAA Div. III postseason play.
Anderson also works at Jugs Sports and has been with the company for over a year.
