Laying a Foundation
With nearly 60 combined team and individual conference championships, George Fox student-athletes are known as fierce competitors throughout the Northwest Conference. In 2017, the Bruins made history as the first Christian college in Oregon to offer student-athletes the chance to swim competitively at the collegiate level. Coach Natalie Turner in laying the groundwork to establish George Fox University as a championship-caliber program in the Pacific Northwest.

Chehalem Parks and Recreation Aquatic Center
The George Fox University swim team will practice and compete at the newly renovated Chehalem Parks and Recreation Aquatic Center. The $19.9 million bond measure was passed by voters on the November 2014 ballot. This measure funds the redevelopment of CPRD's 44-year-old community swimming pool facility as follows:

The Region’s Premier Small-College Conference
George Fox is a member of the NCAA Division III Northwest Conference, a group of nine selective private colleges which all rank in the first tier of U.S. News’ National Liberal Arts Colleges or Regional University categories. The other members are Lewis & Clark College, Linfield College, Pacific Lutheran University, Pacific University, University of Puget Sound, Whitman College, Whitworth University and Willamette University.
