HILLSBORO --- Tavin Headings was named Northwest Conference Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for her performance over the Bruins' 2-0 week.

Headings, a senior wing from Hermiston, Oregon, averaged 19.5 points per game for the No. 15-ranked Bruins in wins over Linfield (95-61) and Willamette (75-49). She scored a career-high 24 points against the 'Cats, going 10-18 from the field and 3-6 from deep. Headings followed up that performance with 15 points against Willamette on 7-12 shooting from the field. During the two games, she shot 56.7 percent from the field and 50 percent from the 3-point line.

This marks the first NWC Student-Athlete of the Week honor for the Bruins and for Headings.
