HILLSBORO --- The Northwest Conference office announced its Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of October 1-7 on Monday, Oct. 7. Rachel Drgastin was honored by the NWC Office as the women's golfer of the week for her play at the Culturame Classic.

Drgastin, the Bruins' senior captain, won the individual medalist honor and helped her teammates capture the 2019 Culturame Classic in Canby, Ore., against a field loaded with talent from NCAA DIII Top 25 programs. The Bend, Ore., native finished with a score of 150 (+6) and a best round of 74.

This is Drgastin's first NWC honor of the 2019-20 season and the Bruins' second as a team after Kayle Hunn garnered the honors earlier this fall.
