NEWBERG --- The George Fox women's lacrosse game against Whitman College on Saturday, April 27, has been cancelled.

The Bruins were scheduled to face the Blues at Austin Sports Complex at 12:00 pm on April 27, but Whitman elected to cancel their appearance. By rule, the cancelled game is a 1-0 win for the Bruins that is also considered a no-contest result. The no-contest designation means that the Bruins will not get credit for a win in their overall record, but it will count in the NWC standings for both sides.

The Bruins' next game is their final matchup of the regular season. George Fox plays host for first-year program Whitworth University on Sunday, April 28, at 1:00 pm. The Bruins will honor their seniors prior to first draw against the Pirates, so be sure to arrive early for those ceremonies.
