SPOKANE --- The George Fox women's soccer program suffered a tough loss on the road to the Whitworth Pirates, falling 3-0.

The game started with Whitworth in control and it stayed that way for the majority of the game.  The Bruins couldn't get any of there 3 shots past goalie Isabelle Arends in the first half, while Whitworth's Kendall Sharp sneaked one past Annalisa Klein to make the score 1-0.

Even with Whitworth pressing in to score more, Klein had two saves to keep the score close.

The Pirates took the 1-0 lead into the half and didn't look back.  In the 62", Jadyn Baumgartner found the back of the net to make it 2-0, which was shortly followed up with another goal, but this time put in by Whitworth's Kaitlin Speer.  With the score 3-0, things got a bit chippy, earning George Fox's Brittany Bravo and Maggee Hodgon yellow cards as the game came to a close.

Top Performers:

The Bruins struggled in Spokane, but Pilialoha Ahina played well with a shot on goal, along with Amy Hatter, who shot it three times.
