NEWBERG, Ore. --- George Fox University's men's soccer team took on Pacific Lutheran Saturday afternoon, as the Bruins played in their first conference match this season.

The Bruins (2-2-1, 0-1 NWC) fell to the Lutes (3-3, 1-0 NWC) in a close 2-0 match.

Joel Schierman, Luke Dickens, Luke Hammer, and Angelo Florez all recorded two shots on the day. PLU was heavy handed with its shots, but only managed to put three on net.

Ricardo Sotelo played all 90 minutes for the Bruins and allowed two goals, while recording one save.

George Fox will continue its road stint tomorrow afternoon when the Bruins take on Puget Sound at 2:30 p.m.
