ESTACADA, Ore. --- George Fox University's cross country teams competed in the Lewis & Clark Cross Country Invite, as both the men's and women's team placed ninth overall.

Recap:
On the men's side, the Bruins faced 11 teams in the 8k and placed their top runner in the Top 30. Bryant Quinn ran a 26:25.1 and finished 27^th overall. Freshman Ethan Patterson ran a time of 26:46.4 and placed 35^th, while Colin Atchison placed 53^rd and ran a time of 27:16.4. Freshman Josh Meyer finished in 57^th and recorded a time of 27:25.0, and Christian Parr completed the scoring with a time of 27:41.5 to take 68^th.

Other runners on the men's side:
Spencer Elmore finished in 77^th with a time of 27:54.9.
Alex Lull finished in 81^st with a time of 27:58.8.
Winter Tumbaga finished in 90^th with a time of 28:13.4.
Zach Bibb finished in 112^th with a time of 29:36.0.
Marcus Mateo finished in 115^th with a time of 30:09.2.
Devon Donahue finished in 122^nd with a time of 32:25.2.

There were 124 runners in the field. Ray Schireman of Southern Oregon won the 8k with a time of 24:52.3. Southern Oregon went on to win the 8k with a team score of 26, placing all five runners in the Top 10.

Meanwhile, on the women's side, the Bruins ran against 10 teams and scored a total of 211 points. Kayla Moore was the standout for the Bruins running a time of 23:54.5, taking 23^rd. McKenzie Young ran a time of 24:34.3 and placed 43^rd, while Grace Ferguson finished 52^nd with a time of 24:42.0. Ashlee Vos ran a time of 25:00.2 and finished in 55^th, while Taylor Suwa completed the scoring with a time of 25:23.8, taking 71^st.

Other runners on the women's side:
Jenna Hills finished in 80^th with a time of 25:47.3.
Raychel Rojas finished in 83^rd with a time of 25:58.6.
Caitlin Kereszturi finished in 90^th with a time of 26:14.7.
Alyssa Malech finished in 92^nd with a time of 26:18.9.
Rose Hernandez finished in 97^th with a time of 26:44.2.
Chloe Tomlinson finished in 109^th with a time of 29:22.7.
Savannah Hamilton finished in 110^th with a time of 29:51.5.
Allie Harris finished in 112^th with a time of 32:54.8.

There were 112 runners in the field. Jessa Perkinson of Southern Oregon won the 6k with a time of 21:55.4. Whitworth won the 6k with a team score of 30, placing all five runners in the Top 10.

What Comes Next:
The Bruins will head to Tacoma, Washington when they will run in the Northwest Conference Championship hosted by Pacific Lutheran University.
