TACOMA, Wash. --- The George Fox men's soccer team played in an exciting match, Sunday afternoon, as the Bruins went into overtime with the Loggers of Puget Sound, but it was the Loggers who came out on top with a 98th minute goal, 2-1.

Recap:
It didn't take long for either team to settle in to the first period, as the Loggers were the first to jump on the board after Sam Zisette was rewarded a penalty kick. The resilient Bruins bounced back, though, and scored the equalizer eight minutes later when Joab Logan scored his first goal of the year. Both teams went into the half tied at 1-1. The second half proved to be a test for both teams, as neither side could score the game winner before the whistle blew at the 90th minute. The Loggers used a well-placed cross from Josh Sonico, who found Zisette in the box and clinched the match.

Top Performers:
Logan was the hero of the day for the Bruins, as he was the only goal scorer, but Miguel Lopez fired off four shots with two being on goal. Murray Noble played all 98 minutes for the Bruins and recorded five saves.

What Comes Next:
The Bruins (3-5, 0-2 NWC) will head back home and look to record their first win in conference when they host Linfield on Saturday, September 26th at 2:30 p.m.
