Box Score NEWBERG, Ore. --- The George Fox men's soccer team hosted a very tough and skillful undefeated team Tuesday night, as the Warriors of Corban University edged the Bruins by a score of 3-0.

With a crowd of nearly 200 people in the stands, the Bruins got off to a decent start in the opening minutes, keeping possession away from the Warriors. It wasn't until the 27th minute when Warrior' Quamie Dinnall crossed one into the box that found the foot of Bobby Hutchin for the first goal of the match. Dinnall would end the first half with a goal of his own in the 38th minute when he had a one-on-one with Bruin' keeper Murray Noble. In the second half, the Warriors and Bruins continued an exciting pace of play keeping the crowd well involved in the match. Dinnall would score again in the 73rd minute after a penalty kick was awarded from a hand ball.
Top Performers:
Joel Schierman had a wonderful night firing off five shots to lead the Bruins. Noble clocked all 90 minutes in the net for the Bruins and recorded seven saves.
What Comes Next:
The Bruins will head down to California this weekend when they take on California Lutheran on September 11th and Redlands on the 12th.
