FOREST GROVE, Ore. --- The George Fox men's soccer team took the field for their last regular season match against Pacific. 

Recap:
Battling the elements, the Boxers and Bruins traded fouls early. Joel Schierman got off two attempts for the Bruins, but both were saved by Pacific. In the 25th minute, it was the Boxers who got on the board to take the lead 1-0 on a goal from Shawn Opfer. 

In the back half of the firth period, the Bruins had opportunities to even the score, but couldn't find the net. Moises Manon and Alan Rojas each had attempts saved, and the Boxers took a 1-0 lead into halftime. 

In the second period, the Bruins were out-shot the Boxers, but neither team could tally a goal. Manon and Trevor Martin each had attempts on goal for the Bruins, but neither player could find the equalizer. The Boxers held on, taking down the Bruins 1-0. 

Top Performers:
Moises Manon led the Bruins with three shot attempts, while Joel Schierman added two shots of his own.  

What Comes Next:
The Bruins have completed their 2016 season.
