NEWBERG, Ore. --- The George Fox men's soccer team hosted Puget Sound in a conference matchup on Sunday, losing a close one, 1-0.
Recap:
The Bruins had a good chance to score in the 18th minute on a set piece. Kody Ulrich took a corner that was just narrowly headed over the goal by Austin Ziegler.
Despite the effort, it was Puget Sound who struck first with a goal in the 38th minute, setting the score at 1-0.
The Bruins out-shot Puget Sound 5-3 in the first half.
The second half saw both teams struggle on offense as they combined for only five shots in the final period of play.
