SHERMAN, Texas --- The George Fox men's soccer team continued road play in Texas Saturday with a matchup against Austin College, losing 3-0.

It was the 'Roos who struck first in this one with a goal in the 10th minute, coming from a free kick.
A George Fox corner kick from Isaiah Carrillo was nearly headed in by senior defender Austin Ziegeler, coming close to evening the score at one.
Austin struck again with a goal in the 23rd minute, widening the gap and setting the score at 2-0.
Two quick shots from George Fox weren't enough to score as the 'Roos managed to put one more in the net in the 35th minute, setting the score at 3-0 heading into halftime.
The second half was much more competitive as George Fox held the opposition scoreless, but were themselves unable to narrow the deficit through the final 45.
Top Performers:
Bruins' Bryce Towne, Daniel Alonzo and Isaiah Carrillo all tallied two shots each to lead the offense.

The Bruins open their road trip 0-2.
