NEWBERG, Ore. --- The George Fox men's soccer team hosted Pacific Lutheran on Saturday, losing the tough conference matchup, 3-0.
Recap:
It was the Lutes who struck first, netting a goal in the second minute of play to put the Bruins down by one.
After a back-and-forth first half, the Lutes managed to strike again in the 39th minute.
The second half began with another goal by Pacific Lutheran, widening the lead, 3-0.
Trevor Martin had shots on goal in the 65th and 71st minute that were both saved by the opposing keeper.
Top Performers:
Martin led the Bruins with two shots in the contest. Andrew Phillis also contributed on the defensive end with three saves.
What It Means:
The Bruins move to 4-7 overall and 2-3 in conference play.
