SALEM, Ore. --- George Fox men's soccer fell 5-1 in a rematch with Willamette on the road on the Bearcats' home pitch on Sunday, Mar. 28.

How It Happened

The Bearcats scored first with two free-kick goals in the opening fifteen minutes of play. George Fox got on the board with a strike by Luke Hamocon set up by a feed from Alan Rincón, but the Bearcats put in three more insurance goals to counter that score for the 5-1 final. The match was similarly chippy as the previous contest in Newberg with three cautions issued during the 90 minutes of action.

What It Means

The Bruins fall to 2-3 overall and in conference in the shortened spring 2021 season.

George Fox will play a home-and-away series this coming week with Pacific (Ore.) beginning on Mar. 31 in Forest Grove.
