McMINNVILLE, Ore. -- The George Fox men's tennis team rounded out their weekend with another win, sweeping Linfield, 9-0, in their second Northwest Conference matchup.
How It Happened
The Bruins continued their winning ways on Sunday, and started well with a win from doubles partners
Vahag Pashayan and
Camden Camacho on court one, 8-5. The Bruins went on to win the next two doubles matches:
Austin Stone and
Eli Mizerski won 8-4, while
Hunter Fujimori and
Alle Banna went on to win their doubles matchup as well.
The Bruins were able to win all six of their singles matches without dropping a set.
Eli Mizerski continued a strong start to his collegiate career, winning, 6-3, 7-6. In each of the Bruins' next five matches they were able to win comfortably.
Austin Stone won 6-2, 6-3 while
Camden Camacho finished up with a win 6-0, 6-3.
Jackson Whittaker finished up the day without giving up a single game, winning 6-0, 6-0.

"I thought we played some good singles, and energetic doubles today." Bruin head coach
Jeff Cero said, "Vahag and Cam played great leading the way with some great doubles, followed by Eli playing a pretty complete match. We're looking forward to California to see where we stack up against some of the best in the nation."
What It Means
The Bruins improved to a 5-3 record overall with a 2-0 mark in Northwest Conference play. The Wildcats fall to 2-4 on the season.
What Comes Next
The Bruins travel to California for one of their most important weekends of the year, playing in the Stag-Hen Invitational next Friday where they start out facing off against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at 10:00 am.
