NEWBERG, Ore. -- The George Fox men's tennis team's regular season may have come to an end, but there's still more in store for the defending NWC champions.
The Bruins finished conference play with a perfect 7-0 record, never allowing more than three points throughout their NWC slate. Fox enters the tournament ranked 29th in the country and fifth in the region, with several members ranked individually.
"We are so excited to host the Conference tournament and complete what we have worked so hard for this season," Bruin head coach
Jeff Cero said, "Pacific, Whitman, and Lewis & Clark will be tough, and hungry to win this tournament. We are looking forward to the challenge."
Newcomer
Eli Mizerski, who joined the team in the spring, exploded onto the scene in 2023 — the freshman from Warsaw, Poland, is currently the top-ranked Bruin player at 13th in the region individually.
Vahag Pashayan is the lone Bruin single ranked as well at 24th in the region. Pashayan and
Camden Camacho clock in as the top-ranked doubles players in the region.
Fox will look to win their third consecutive NWC title and will host Lewis & Clark in the first round of the tournament. The match is scheduled to begin at 10 am at the Multi-Use Facility and can be streamed
