NEWBERG, Ore. -- The George Fox women's soccer team lost 3-0 against Linfield during their last match of the season.
How It Happened
Linfield player Rae Gerking scored a goal in the first 19 minutes of the game. She was assisted by Sidra Griffin. The Bruins and Wildcats each had five shots. The score was 1-0 for Linfield going into the second half of play.
Though the Bruins did their best to hold off the Wildcats, Linfield player Reese Jones scored a goal in the 65th minute of the game. Lize Rendon scored an additional goal for Linfield in the 85th minute to fully seal the win for the Wildcats. Although the Bruins lost they still put up a fight having a total of ten shots on goal and seven saves from keeper
Emily Robey.

Becca Kozak had three shots and Lindsay Kong had two shots. Goalkeeper
Emily Robey had seven saves.
